Osborne Homestead Museum in Derby to host celebrity photo exhibit

'The Stars at Kellogg' opens Saturday
DERBY - Did you know Derby was once a hot spot for world famous performances and celebrities?
From Saturday through the month of September, the Osborne Homestead Museum will feature a special photo exhibition of celebrities who lectured and performed in Derby.

Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

As president of the Women’s Club of Ansonia, Derby, and Shelton, Frances Osborne Kellogg brought luminaries such as aviatrix Amelia Earhart, poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, and composer Henry Burleigh to the Naugatuck Valley.

The Osborne Homestead Museum is a facility of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

It is open for free guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays from noon-4 p.m.
