Music, food on tap before 'Twelfth Night' performance in Shelton

SHELTON - Valley Shakespeare Festival, the Naugatuck Valley’s only professional theater company, will present its fifth annual free outdoor summer production, Shakespeare’s comedy “Twelfth Night, or What You Will,” at 8 p.m. July 13-16 at Veterans Memorial-Riverwalk Park.
All four performances are free and open to the public, and audiences are encouraged to arrive early at 6 p.m. with blankets and lawn chairs for picnicking and family time.

The Park is located at 38 Canal St. East, on the banks of the Housatonic River, making it an ideal venue for an outdoor performance under the stars on a soft summer night.
Friday night is “Concert Night” with food trucks and live entertainment featuring Lee Ann Lovelace and George Lesiw prior to the performance courtesy of “Celebrate Shelton.”
