DERBY - The Derby Public Library will hold a Homemade Body Scrub workshop at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21 presented by herbalist daughter/historian mother duo
Ehris Urban and Velya Janncz-Urban.
This interactive presentation will begin with a medicinal and historical overview of exfoliating treatments. Participants will then choose which eight-ounce scrub they want to create: either a cinnamon coffee which works well as a vasodilator, tightening and firming your skin, or a lemon sugar which is ideal for treating a dull complexion, aging skin, and pigmentation.
Space is limited and registration is required for this evening of fun, laughs, and pampering.
For more information, stop by the Library, 313 Elizabeth St., call 203-736-1482, or visit www.derbypubliclibrary.org.
