St. Vincent De Paul in Derby seeks donations of food, housewares, clothing

DERBY - The St. Vincent De Paul Helping Hands of the Valley Thrift Shoppe and Food Bank, 237 Roosevelt Drive, today issued a request for donations.

Cindy Barbian, thrift shop manager, posted on Facebook that the store needs donations of "bric a brac, housewares, domestics, childrens' toys, and childrens' clothing."

Barbian said the nonprofit also needs food to fill the pantry shelves. Items include canned fruits and vegetables, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, and macaroni and cheese.

Consider supporting an organization that is always ready to help our needy neighbors.
