Derby Public Library to hold presentation on lead poisoning prevention


DERBY - The Derby Public Library Children's Department will sponsor a childhood lead prevention program from 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 24.

Families with children ages birth to 11 are invited to join the Naugatuck Valley Health District for a presentation about childhood lead poisoning prevention.

You will learn what lead is, where it is found, how to clean lead dust, and ways to prevent lead poisoning.

Free cleaning supplies will be provided to the first 10 people to register. 

Program is free, but registration is required.
