Local history, Tech Time on tap at Derby Library

DERBY -The Derby Public Library welcomes back Rob Novak Jr., a local historian, at 6:30 p.m. April 13 to discuss Yesterday's Headlines.

Novak has specialized in presenting local history in fun, interactive formats for both general and specific audiences for more than 20 years.  
He is past director of the Derby Historical Society and the City of Shelton’s Municipal Historian.  
In addition, he has authored four books through Arcadia Publications, and has been a popular historical columnist.

Participants will be taken back to 1915, 1940, and 1965 to see what was happening locally 100, 75, and 50 years ago in the Valley. Registration is requested.  

Tech Time
The Library offers monthly Tech Time sessions.

Every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and every third Thursday of the month
at 10 a.m. a staff member will be on hand to answer all your tech-related questions and concerns.  

Whether you are having trouble downloading e-books, searching databases, completing 
online job applications, scanning/sending documents and photos, etc., your problems 
will be addressed. 

April sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 15 and at 10 a.m. April 16. 
No registration is needed.
