Spirit of community felt during video premiere at store in Ansonia

BHcare Director of Development Arlene Greco speaks Thursday at a red carpet event to celebrate a promotional video for My Sister's Place Thrift Store and Donation Center at 380 Main St., Ansonia. All proceeds from the store support programs run by BHcare that help victims of domestic violence.

Ansonia resident and loyal customer Carolyn Bank is recognized by My Sister's Place staff and volunteers at a red carpet event Thursday. Bank is featured in a four-minute film about the store. The video was produced by photojournalist Annalisa Russell-Smith, owner of Local Planet Productions, LLC.

Staff, volunteers, and loyal customers of the thrift shop attended the viewing party. It's safe to say a good time was had by all!
