ANSONIA - “The Ansonia Armory will open its doors to residents for walking and exercise beginning Monday, January 12, 2015,” Mayor David S. Cassetti said in a release Tuesday.

“Many residents took advantage of this opportunity last year when inclement weather prohibited outdoor exercise," he said.
"I wanted to be sure to offer this alternative to Ansonia residents again this year. It’s a great way to exercise during the winter months and a good opportunity to socialize with your friends and neighbors,” Cassetti said.

The Armory at 5 State St. will be open from 7-9 a.m. starting Jan. 12 and will remain open until March 27.
"I encourage all residents to take advantage of this opportunity," Cassetti said. "It’s a great way to stretch your legs and get your blood flowing during the winter months."
