Sharing scenes before the start of the Griffin Hospital 5K in Derby

Early arrivals at this morning's Griffin Hospital 5K Walk/Run at the Center for Cancer Care in Derby.

Survivors received lots of goodies...I got a travel mug, water bottle, three key fobs, dark chocolate candies and more.

This was one of the information tables. Patients who lose their hair during treatment are able to get a beautiful wig, free of charge, thanks to funds raised during events like the annual 5K.  

Colorful gourds and painted pumpkins are signs that autumn is upon us.

Information about mammograms, breast cancer awareness, prevention, and treatment was available.

I took some foliage photos while waiting for my teammates to arrive. 

I didn't have to look far, there were some spectacular colors on the edge of the parking lot.
