Foley visits Ansonia businesses, talks about spending cuts

Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley, left, listens to a reporter's question Tuesday with Ansonia Mayor David S. Cassetti on the steps of Ansonia City Hall.
Foley walks down West Main Street with Cassetti, left, and Aldermanic President Phil Tripp on their way to tour the assembly shop at Farrel Pomini. Behind them is Sheila O'Malley, the city's director of Economic and Community Development.
Foley chats with Guy Tiso, service manager in the Farrel Pomini assembly shop.

Foley posed with Cassetti for one last photo before leaving Ansonia.

Foley criticized Gov. Dannel P. Malloy for not getting control over spending. "Let's stop raising taxes on people," he said.

Cassetti said the next governor "needs to be more business friendly. It's really important to a state like this."
