Derby Historical Society continues 30th annual appeal

Gen. David Humphreys House in Ansonia

Dear Members and Friends,

The Derby Historical Society is still in its 30th-Annual Fundraising Appeal.

Our Society’s future depends on the Annual Fundraising Appeal.

This is a critical time for the Derby Historical Society to continue its mission of historical and cultural heritage enrichment.
This year marks two major milestones for the Derby Historical Society; the 40th-Anniversary of the opening of the General David Humphreys House Museum and the 40th-Anniversary of the award-winning hands-on program, "A Day in 1762."

This has been a very difficult year for everyone during the Covid-19 pandemic. The loss of revenue from events makes it critical that we reach out to you, our members, and our friends. We are in need of your financial support.

Please invest in the Society’s efforts to preserve our region’s history and culture by making a donation. Donations can be mailed, made on our website, or on Facebook with our new "Donate" button - please indicate that this is going towards our Annual Appeal.

Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
