Get a haircut and support Seymour Pink

SEYMOUR - EnV Hair Lounge and Wig Center is sponsoring its third annual Cut-A-Thon from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to benefit Seymour Pink.

A shampoo and a haircut cost $20, with all proceeds going to the nonprofit Seymour Pink, A Community's Fight Against Breast Cancer.

EnV Hair Lounge is at 225 West St. in the Oxmour Plaza. 

The event will include plaza specials, vendors, and information booths.

A mammogram bus from Yale-New Haven Hospital will be on hand from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

My daughter and I went there last year to get our haircuts, and we were happy to see so many people taking advantage of an opportunity to help raise funds.

We plan to go again Saturday to support this important cause.
