State offering CT Summer at the Museum free admission for kids

It’s time to explore! From July 1 to September 4, CT children age 18 and under plus (1) accompanying CT resident adult can visit participating museums *free of charge* through the CT Summer at the Museum program.

Derby Public Library to close Tuesday for Fourth of July holiday

Derby Public Library will be closed Tuesday, July 4th, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Outside book drops will be open to return library items. 

Enjoy the great selection of eBooks, audiobooks, movies and TV shows using the online resources found on our website (www.derbypubliclibrary.org), Libby and Hoopla, where you can borrow and enjoy a plethora of online media everywhere you have a screen – your computer, your phone, your car, even your smart TV!

Social Convention to perform Tuesday at Jackson Cove in Oxford

Light refreshments will be for sale.
Concerts are free to the public and beach permit restrictions will be waived at 5:30 p.m. on concert nights
Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.until the final concert of the season which will begin at 6 p.m.
