Seymour Police collect toys, monetary donations for TEAM, Inc.

Thank you to everyone who donated at our annual TEAM, Inc. Toys 4 Kids Toy Drive this past Saturday! 
Today, Chief Satkowski presented TEAM, Inc. with a $500 check on behalf of the Seymour Police Department!"

The final count from Saturday’s toy drive is as follows:
280 Toys
4 Bicycles
Approximately $600 in monetary donations along with nine gift cards.

Storm Engine Company in Derby readies Popcorn Ball Sunday

DERBY - Storm Engine Company's annual Popcorn Ball Sunday will be held the afternoon of Dec. 22 starting around 1 p.m. and continuing until 5 p.m.
If you live on the west side of Derby keep an ear and an eye out for us coming down your street.
We will have Santa riding along and throwing out treats. Hope to see you all!

Derby Historical Society to hold fair, cookie walk at Humphreys House


ANSONIA - The Derby Historical Society will host its annual Holiday Fair and Cookie Walk from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the David Humphreys House, 37 Elm St.Join us for hot mulled cider and visit our gift shop for unique Christmas gifts such as doll clothes, kids' toys, and books. Heather’s Korner, Coon Hollow Farm, Owl’s Nest Crafts, and Wandering Lydia will have their handmade items for purchase as well.
