SHELTON -  The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services & Hope Family Justice Center will hold a Candlelight Vigil at 6 p.m. Oct. 11 at Veterans Memorial Park, 38 Canal St. 

Remembrance, Healing, Hope. Please join us to raise awareness, remember victims, and celebrate survivors of domestic violence.

the little Big Band to perform Wednesday on Huntington Green

SHELTON - the little Big Band will perform from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday on the Huntington Green. 

The 15-piece band plays popular swing and big band music. 

It is the final concert of the summer series. The concerts are presented by Shelton Parks & Recreation Department.

Shelton group seeks volunteers to help clean up Bridgeport Avenue commuter lot
