First United Methodist Church in Ansonia to host BINGO Saturday
ANSONIA - Help raise money for autism at a BINGO event Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 47 Franklin St.
Start the New Year off right by winning the Grand Prize of a 44" Smart TV or one of many other great prizes!
Tickets are $20 per person and extra sheets are available to purchase for increasing your chances of winning. There will be other opportunities to take home prizes.

ANSONIA - Come and be a part of our initiative at 1 p.m. Jan. 20 to craft a full set of pads for our adorable guinea pig’s cozy nighttime hutch. Join Ranger Maria for this exciting sewing program to benefit Humphrey, our guinea pig. Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or a complete newbie, everyone is welcome to join the fun of a memorable sewing experience! For ages 12 to adult. Derby Neck Library to present talk on Wilbur F. Osborne's Civil War career
DERBY - Pat Sweeney, adult services librarian, will present a PowerPoint talk at 6:30 p.m. Jan.18 on the Civil War career of Wilbur F. Osborne.
One focus of this event is the technology used during the war.
In addition, there will be a display of his original documents as a supply captain and other related items - all from our archives.
Registration is not required. The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.
