DERBY - Derby Neck Library hosts Dinner and a Movie for ages 18 and older at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1.  
This month’s feature film is “Fantastic Beasts.” 

Free movie refreshments will be served, including a pizza dinner at intermission.
Enjoy a film projected in high definition on a large screen.

Three Saints Orthodox Church in Ansonia to host annual Slavic Festival


ANSONIA - Three Saints Orthodox Church will host its annual Slavic Food Festival and Tag Sale Nov. 9 and 10.
There will be plenty of shopping opportunities and a variety of homemade ethnic food available, including pierogi, stuffed cabbage, soups, cabbage and noodles, cheese blintzes, kabobs, and baked goods. 
The festival will feature a tag sale with a huge holiday selection and book sale. 

Hours are 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. Kitchen opens at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The church is at 26 Howard Ave.
