Ansonia Police seek info on Oct. 15 armed robbery at Smoke Vibes

ANSONIA - An armed robbery occurred at about 9 p.m. Oct. 15 at Smoke Vibes, 50 Bridge St., Police Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a written release Monday night.

Investigators seek to identify the female pictured in the above photos who may have relevant information about the incident.

Ansonia Police find violations of state regulations at Mo's Smoke Shop



ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department working in conjunction with the state of Connecticut Department of Revenue Services today served a search warrant on Mo’s Smoke Shop, 213 Pershing Drive. 

Numerous items containing cannabis were located and seized from the store, Lt. Patrick Lynch said Monday night in a written release.

Along with the illegal cannabis products the store was in violation of other state regulations. 

As a result of the violations the store has been temporarily closed. 

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.

Poeta Strong to march in Seymour Christmas Parade this Sunday

We will march to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the establishment of the fund at the Valley Community Foundation and our community’s continued support! 

Through the generosity of family, friends, and even strangers, some who have now become forever friends, we are are getting close to our goal which will make the fund self-supporting and never-ending!

We would love to have Nina’s friends, supporters and scholarship recipients march with us! We will be tossing candy and Nina bracelets!
