Recuperation journey: Surprise in the mail

I got a fun surprise today from a travel writer friend who I rarely see and who happens to be enjoying a much anticipated trip to the UK at the moment. 

I know she worked a lot of overtime to afford the wonderful trip she planned for her milestone birthday! 
I hope she's having a fabulous time.

Ansonia Police Department launches service to help with crime tips, alerts

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is happy to announce a new service to help with crime tips and community alerts. 
The new tip411 service will allow citizens to report crime tips anonymously and also sign up to receive important alerts from the Ansonia Police Department. 
The directions detailing how to sign up and download the app are provided in the attached flyer.

Orthopedic surgeon to discuss hip replacement at Griffin Hospital in Derby


DERBY - Griffin Hospital will offer a free presentation on minimally invasive hip replacement surgery at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 19 at the hospital, 130 Division St.
Philip Minotti, M.D.

Orthopedic surgeon Philip Minotti, M.D., will discuss the advanced direct anterior approach for hip replacement, which offers important advantages over standard 
surgical procedures. 

Direct anterior hip replacement patients generally experience less pain along with a shorter length of stay in the hospital and faster recovery.
Minotti will answer any questions attendees may have.
These seminars are offered monthly at Griffin Hospital. Refreshments will be served.
