To all those who have served, and those who continue to serve … Happy Veterans Day!
Veterans Day is Nov. 11.
Mental health care is especially important during today’s stressful and difficult times. It’s important to note that mental illness does not only affect service members but their families, as well.
Many soldiers have spouses, and nearly half have children who are under 18.
Our military service members may experience grief and stress before, during, and after their service, which may result in mental health struggles and substance use.
According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, approximately 22 military veterans die by suicide each day in the United States. Less than 50 percent of returning veterans experiencing need receive any mental health treatment.
BHcare wants you to know that you are not alone. No matter what you are experiencing, there is support to get you back on track. We are here for you.
Some of the services BHcare offers include:
- Trauma Informed Care
- Substance Use Disorder Services
