SEYMOUR - As a survivor, I want to give a big shout-out to staff of Stop & Shop in Seymour for decorating the store in support of the nonprofit Seymour Pink and breast cancer awareness.
This is one of many balloons floating in the store Wednesday to mark Seymour Pink Day. I was told that two of the store's employees are breast cancer survivors, and I'm sure they appreciated the thoughtfulness.
Pink balloons demonstrate that Hot Tamale on New Haven Road was the place to be Wednesday to celebrate the town's sixth annual Pink Day.
