SEYMOUR - The town's Culture and Arts group has announced this year's concerts at Great Hill Hose Company, 140 Botsford Road.

The concerts are held from 6-8 p.m.

June 3 - The Royal Kings

June 17 - Audacity

July 1 - Silver Steel Pan Band

July 8 - The Barons

July 22 - Nashville Drive

August 5 - Social Convention

August 26 - The Tradesmen

September 2 - The Bernadettes

Annual Derby-Shelton Memorial Day service slated at Shelton Intermediate School

SHELTON - The Derby-Shelton Memorial Day Parade Association in association with Derby and Shelton Veteran Organizations and the Derby and Shelton Police and Fire Departments will host its annual Memorial Day service at 6 p.m. May 26 at Shelton Intermediate School. 

The service is  will commemorate Memorial Day and remember Veterans from Derby and Shelton who passed away since last Memorial Day.

Shelton History Center slates spring site cleanup

SHELTON - Join us at the Shelton History Center for a little spring cleaning at 10 a.m. May 20.

Grab a rake and some gardening gloves and come help us get the History Center ready for our upcoming events. It takes a lot of work to look this good.

The History Center at 70 Ripton Road is operated by the Shelton Historical Society.
