Seymour Town Hall, Transfer Station to close on Good Friday


SEYMOUR - Town Hall Offices and the Transfer Station will be closed tomorrow, April 15, 2022, in observance of Good Friday. The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 8 a.m. - 2:45 pm.
Town Hall will reopen on Monday at 8 a.m.
Garbage and recycling are on the regular day pickup schedule.

Scouts to hold 96th Gang Show at Derby Methodist Church


DERBY - Songs, jokes, and skits performed by the Scouts of Pack 3, Troop 3, and Crew 33 Scouts. World's longest running show of its kind. 

Tickets are $12 and available by calling 203-732-0343.

The church is at 17 Fifth St.

Ansonia Police ID homicide victim, seek information from public


ANSONIA - The victim in the April 5, 2022 homicide in Ansonia is Johnny Class, a 20 year-old Stratford resident, Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a release. 

Chief Williams and the entire Ansonia Police Department offer our sympathy and condolences to Mr. Class’ family, friends, and loved ones. 
The investigation into Mr. Class’ death is still active with several strong leads and we are hopeful the investigation will lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
