Everyone can become a part of the fun by entering one of our contests.

On the day of the festival, bring your decorated pumpkins to the Pumpkin Festival Headquarters Booth to be signed in. Pumpkins must be at headquarters by 12 noon. Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. Participants can then come and pick up their pumpkins to see if they have won.
Costume Contest: To participate in the costume contest, children must come to the festival dressed in their Halloween costumes and march in a small parade. Please arrive on the baseball field by 11:45 a.m. so judging can promptly begin at 12 noon. After the parade, the children will receive a prize.
Create your own Scarecrow Contest: This is a new contest at the Pumpkin Festival! To participate, create a scarecrow prior to the festival.
You can make it any size and out of any materials. On the day of the festival, bring your scarecrow to the Pumpkin Festival Headquarters Booth to be signed in. Scarecrows must be at headquarters by 12 noon.
Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. Participants can then come and pick up their scarecrows to see if they won a prize!
