Derby Public Library to host virtual discussion about movies, TV



DERBY - Derby Public Library invites ages 18 and older to join The Streamers Club in a discussion with Joe Meyers at 6:30 p.m. July 26.
The program will focus on what to watch and what not; the best movies and TV shows on your favorite streaming service, as well as 2021’s summer movie blockbusters.

Joe wrote about movies, theater, and books for the Hearst Connecticut Media Group. 
Since 2017 he has been director of Programming for Focus on French Cinema, the five-day festival of the best new French language films held every April in Greenwich, Stamford, and New York City.

Registration is required for this program online to receive the Zoom link and password. 
Registration ends at 4:30 p.m. the day before the event.

Seymour Public Library to hold jewelry-making program via Zoom

SEYMOUR - Seymour Public Library will host an online jewelry-making event at 2 p.m. Thursday for ages 12 and up.

Pick up a few jewelry making kits at the library, 46 Church St., and join us on Zoom while we all craft together!

Zoom participation is not required.
