Griffin Health to host virtual community concert to benefit TEAM, Inc.



Home for the HolidaysA FREE Virtual Community Concert presented by GRIFFIN HEALTH will launch on Thursday, Dec. 17 to benefit TEAM, Inc.

Featuring performances by Angela Clemmons, Valley Soul Director and Professional Recording Artist, Meghan Scheibal, Mezzo-Soprano, along with talented Instrumentalists, Michael Coppola, Joe McWilliams & Jeff Fuller, this Special Holiday Gift will be available for viewing through Dec. 30.

Register for Derby Public Library's winter reading challenge for adults


DERBY - If you love reading and you love a challenge, you’re going to love Derby Public Library’s 2021 Winter Reading Challenge for adults. 

The program runs from Jan. 4 through Feb. 26.

Register online and download the winter reading challenge form at (TBA) or pick up a blank form from the vestibule entrance on Elizabeth Street. After completing the challenge form, return it to either dplreference@biblio.org or deposit it in the collection box inside the vestibule entrance on Elizabeth Street.

Complete at least five of the 15 challenges and return your completed challenge form in order to be entered into the Winter Reading Master drawing! 
You may submit more than one finished winter reading challenge form to better your chances of being selected a Master Reader. Master Readers will be notified by March 5.
