Derby Public Library to hold virtual AAA program for parents of teen drivers

DERBY - Derby Public Library invites parents of student drivers to a free AAA Virtual Educational Program from 7-8 p.m. Sept. 14.

The presentation will show parents how to help their teen drivers avoid common new-driver mistakes.

Registration is required via https://bit.ly/31Nm3Qu. The Zoom access link will be provided via email three days prior to meeting date.

Shelton Library System offers First Chapter Friday via Zoom

SHELTON - The Shelton Library System will host First Chapter Friday via Zoom at 1,1:30, 2, and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Kids ages 6-8, 8-10, 10-13, or 14-18 can join Miss Jessica on Friday afternoon as she reads the first chapter of a book.

The titles are Inspector Flytrap, Space Case, The Trouble with Chickens, and I Killed Zoe Spanos.

Derby Neck Library hosts virtual teen game nights

 

Only two sessions left! Today and Aug. 20.

Tweens and teens are invited to play Jackbox games, Jeopardy!, and Werewolf together via Zoom!

A meeting link will be sent out at 6:15 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. start.
