Woodbridge-based Jewish Federation launches Masks for Heroes program











Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven Coordinating Statewide Effort
In an effort to raise awareness and money to buy emergency certified equipment, specifically masks, a statewide program masksforheroesct.org has been launched.
The grassroots partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven will distribute the Level 1, FDA approved masks to hospitals, first responders and other frontline emergency workers to combat the Covid-19 virus.
100% of all donations go directly to protect medical staff, care-givers, and first responders throughout Connecticut. 
If you would like to donate, you can make your tax-deductible gift online or make your tax-deductible check payable to Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven and mail to 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge CT 06525 attention: Masks for Heroes.
Approximately 500,000 masks have already been distributed throughout the state but hundreds of thousands more will be needed.

Cassetti, staff to hold Virtual Town Hall Tuesday on Ansonia's COVID-19 response

Mayor Cassetti and his staff have scheduled a Virtual Town Hall for Ansonia residents this Tuesday night at 7 pm on Zoom.
The focus of this Town Hall will be on the City's ongoing response to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Participants can look forward to hearing updates from Police Chief Cota, Ansonia Rescue Medical Services and the Ansonia Fire Department.
