Singer/puppeteer Chris Rowlands to entertain at Ansonia Nature Center

ANSONIA - Children's entertainer Chris Rowlands will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center.
Rowlands is an award-winning singer and songwriter who offers an interactive kid-friendly presentation for those who love music and nature.
He creatively blends music, comedy, and education in a fast paced show that teaches and inspires. Rowlands brings animals to life through song, dance, puppets, and colorful props, to teach children about animals and their habitats.
The Environment Magazine has honored Chris with its first E Award for his environmental education programs.
The nature center is at 10 Deerfield Road.

Shelton's Echo Hose Ambulance, Fairfield U. to co-host EMT class in fall
SHELTON - Echo Hose Ambulance and the Fairfield University Public Safety Department are excited to announce a new Saturday Only EMT class beginning Sept. 7.
Classes will meet Saturdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Some Saturday practical classes will meet in Shelton at the Echo Hose Ambulance Training Center.
Class will end Dec. 14.
*Students who can't attend a class on a Saturday due to illness, conflict, etc. will be able to attend the missed class the following day on Sunday at our Training Center in Shelton. Students are welcome to attend classes either at Fairfield University, in Shelton, or a combination of both locations throughout the semester due to scheduling conflicts that may arise.
