'Singing, Dancing, and Laughing Through Life' at Center Stage in Shelton

SHELTON - Mia Scarpa and James DuChateau to star in 'Singing, Dancing, and Laughing Through Life' cabaret this month at Center Stage Theatre. 


Both professional performers, Scarpa recently appeared in 'The Bridges of Madison County' at Music Theatre of CT in Norwalk, and DuChateau performed in 'La Cage Aux Folles' at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in New Jersey.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Jan. 26 and 27. The theater is at 54 Grove St.
The show is cabaret-style and patrons bring their own refreshments.

St. Mary-St. Michael School in Derby to take part in A Day of Giving


DERBY - St. Mary-St.Michael School is pleased to participate in the online giving campaign: 
Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools. It is scheduled for Jan. 30-31.

This is a time for individuals to give to their local Catholic school. Walnut Hill Community Church in Derby hosts monthly game night for youth


DERBY - Game On is a free game night hosted at Walnut Hill Community Church for youth in sixth grade and above. 
It is held on the third Friday of each month during the school year. 
The church is at the corner of Smith and Ninth Streets. 

Youths can enjoy video games like Mario Kart and Wii Sports on different Wii consoles, table games such as pool, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey as well as a wide range of card, board, and skill-based games. 
Light refreshments will be served. 



Students are asked to provide emergency contact information when they come to play.
Come join us for a fun night and bring a friend! 


Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event ends at 
8:30 p.m. 
Students can be picked up by parents at any time.
