"Project Purple is ditching the running for the night, and instead we're playing cornhole to beat pancreatic cancer. Come for the cornhole and Jenga tournaments, and enjoy a large selection of food trucks from southern Connecticut.
"Our office, located in scenic Beacon Falls, will close down Main Street for the day for the event.
"Come and enjoy the music, the food, and the tournament; all while contributing to beating pancreatic cancer."
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

Unfortunately our son, Cameron - with a fractured hip - isn't coming home today.
The physical therapists working with him aren't ready to release him for discharge from the hospital. He's now going through his own recuperation journey.

Spooktacular event on tap Tuesday at Seymour Public Library
SEYMOUR - Animal Embassy will present its "Spooktacular Animal Adventure" at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Seymour Public library.
There will be live animals to help get you in the mood for Halloween!
This evening program is great for all ages.
The Library is at 46 Church St.
