Recuperation journey: Look what I found


I found this photo today at the top of a pile of miscellaneous items in a box that had been in my mother's storage unit. 

And no, the 1664 in the corner isn't the year it was taken. 
Maybe it was the number of kids Santa had held on his lap that day. Just a thought.

On “Homeowner’s Day,” guests were treated to food, door prizes, raffles, entertainment, and a live broadcast by WEBE 108FM. 

Dave Conti, local award-winning owner of Red Planet BBQ and recent winner of 1st Place Dessert at Mohegan BBQ Sunfest 2017 served as celebrity “grill master” during the event.

Recuperation journey: Be careful where you step

Thankfully I didn't make a misstep, but it was close. Since it was rather warm in the sun, my communing with nature idea lasted but a few minutes.

Enjoying the outdoors in October when it's not so hot will prove more therapeutic!
