Chocolate is the star at fundraiser in Shelton
This annual event benefits the The Mary A. Schmecker Turtle Shell Fund and Spooner House in Shelton.
More than 20 vendors will be offering samples of their chocolate-oriented food and drinks, and there will be live music and prizes.
I can attest that this is a fun fund-raiser to attend!
Seymour to hold baseball/softball signups
SEYMOUR - The George J. Hummel Little League will hold registration for baseball and softball starting Saturday at the Community Center, 20 Pine St., in the basement meeting room.

1-3 p.m. Jan. 17;

6-8 p.m. Jan. 22.

Tee Ball - $65
Coach Pitch - $95

"As an update to the post from earlier today....... The planned CL&P outage for Sunday has been cancelled due to possible weather. It is being rescheduled to next Sunday, January 25th. The time and roads effected will remain the same. Again, should you have questions, please call CL&P directly at 800-286-2000."

DeForest Street
First Street
Main Street
Wakeley Street
Columbus Street
Bank Street

SHELTON - The Shelton High School Alumni Association will host its second annual Golden Gael Awards Night from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday at Porky’s CafĂ©, 50 Center St .
See old friends, enjoy spirits, food, and join in the celebration of awarding the Golden Gael.
The event costs $35 a person.
